BIOGRAPHY

Paul Lynch's first full-length album is an epic montage of dark distorted beats, sharply melodic guitars, and haunting vocals. A timeless tale of love and destruction, Ark of War weaves a post-apocalyptic yarn of two ships navigating a water-locked world. A concept album that could easily be found in a record crate wedged between My Bloody Valentine and Boards of Canada, the record is a short-run handmade letter-pressed white vinyl limited to 300 copies, and includes a download coupon with extra bonus tracks.

HISTORY

At a young age Lynch began writing songs on his mothers classical guitar. In college he played guitar in a two piece drone band with Kevin O'Connor of TALKDEMONIC called CARPATHIA and ONLY CONNECT. Later Lynch relocated to Portland, Or and produced music under moniker DJ TAN'T. In the midst of this musical creation, Lynch went back to his guitar roots and formed ((( IN MONO ))) in 2006. He developed a progressive song writing style that consist of live looping ethereal guitar melodies, gritty synth tones, crunchy hip-hop beats beats, and melancholic vocals into one giant orchestrated composition. "Ark of War" is his first album and first release on VInyl.
